1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Giuseppe Liuzzi, for the One Click One Prayer project. For any question or request, write to info@oneclickoneprayer.net.

A code derived from your connection (never your IP address itself)To limit abuse of the form1 day
Optional survey answersTo evaluate the pilotKept without name, email or text: they do not identify you

In any case, the personal data of an intention is deleted at the latest 60 days after it is sent. We also keep anonymous counters (for example how many intentions arrive each week), which contain no personal data.

3. Special data and consent

A prayer intention can reveal your faith, your health or the health of people close to you. This is why we process this data only with your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form and confirming your email. With this consent you also accept that your first name, age, place and an adapted version of your text are read aloud at the private gathering. Please do not write surnames or details that would allow others to be recognised.

Providing your data is optional, but without it we cannot receive your intention. The service is for adults (18 or older) only.

4. Who sees your data

  • The data controller reads every intention to decide whether to accept it under our guidelines, and prepares the version to be read aloud.
  • The speakers, about ten people, take turns at the gathering reading the first name, age, place and the version of the text adapted beforehand by the data controller: shortened if long, without sensitive details, surnames or anything that could identify you or others. They do not see your email or your original text.
  • The members of the community hear the reading during the gathering, which is private, reserved for members and held online on Discord, Zoom and YouTube. The gathering is not recorded, and recording it is forbidden to all participants.

We do not sell or pass on your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Technical providers

To run the site we rely on two providers, which process data only on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and the database, protects the form from automated programs (Turnstile), manages access to the review page and forwards emails sent to info@.
  • Resend sends the confirmation emails and the emails after the gathering.

Both are based in the United States. Data is transferred with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

6. Automatic checks

The form automatically checks for some phrases that may indicate an intention to self-harm. In that case the request is not saved and we show you how to reach a helpline; you can rephrase your intention and send it again. We make no other automated decisions about you.

7. Cookies

We do not use profiling cookies, or advertising or analytics tools from third parties. Cloudflare's anti-bot check may use technical data from your browser, only to tell a person from an automated program.

8. Your rights

At any time you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy. You can also withdraw your consent: if you do so before the gathering, we remove your intention from the reading. Just write to info@oneclickoneprayer.net.

If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority in your country.

9. Changes

If we change this notice, we update the date at the top of this page.
